Full Disclaimer
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Every document, assessment, score and recommendation produced by Seghu carries a short disclaimer. This page is the long version of that notice. It applies to everything the platform generates, and to everything you read on it.
1. We are not a law firm
Seghu is a document-as-a-service platform operated by hibretOne CIC, a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales (company number 14228154). We are not a firm of solicitors, we are not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and we do not carry on reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007. We are not accountants, tax advisers, or FCA-authorised financial advisers either.
2. No solicitor-client relationship
Using Seghu, creating an account, generating a document or corresponding with us does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Nothing you enter into the platform is covered by legal professional privilege. If you need a privileged, advised opinion on your situation, you need a qualified adviser, not this platform.
3. Information, not advice
Everything Seghu produces is for informational and educational purposes only. That includes structure recommendations and fit scores, funding route assessments, funder matches, governance summaries, incorporation and filing packs, learning content, and any text drafted or improved with AI assistance. None of it constitutes legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice, and none of it should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has looked at your specific circumstances.
4. How our assessments work, and what they cannot know
Our structure scoring, funder matching and review engines are deterministic: they apply a fixed set of rules and weightings to the answers you give us. They are only ever as good as those answers, and they cannot see anything you have not told us. A score is a comparison against the options we hold, not a verdict on your organisation, and a low score is a prompt to look closer rather than a finding of fact.
5. AI-assisted content
Some text on the platform is drafted or improved using AI language models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and it can state something incorrect with complete confidence. AI is never used to make a decision, a recommendation or a score on Seghu: those come from the deterministic engines described above. Where AI has helped write something, you should read it as a first draft that needs checking, not as a finished legal document.
6. Accuracy and currency
UK company law, charity law, tax treatment and funder criteria all change. We work to keep the platform current and cite our sources where we can, but we do not warrant that any information, template, threshold, cost estimate, timeline or funder detail is accurate, complete or up to date at the moment you read it. Costs and timelines shown for incorporation or conversion routes are market estimates, never quotes.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing every generated document before you use, sign, file or share it.
- Obtaining independent professional advice before making decisions about your legal structure, incorporation, conversion, governance or funding.
- Everything you submit to a regulator. Filings with Companies House, the Charity Commission, the FCA Mutuals Registry and HMRC are made by you, in your name, and remain your legal responsibility. We do not file on your behalf and we cannot guarantee that any submission will be accepted.
- The accuracy of the information you enter, which is what everything else is built on.
8. Jurisdiction
Seghu is built for organisations in England and Wales, and its content reflects the law of England and Wales. We make no claim that it is accurate or appropriate anywhere else. Scotland and Northern Ireland have materially different charity and registration regimes and are not covered.
9. Third-party information and links
Funder profiles, regulator guidance, external links and partner information are drawn from third-party sources. We do not control that material, we do not endorse it by linking to it, and inclusion of a funder in a match result is not a recommendation, an introduction, or any indication that they will fund you. Always confirm eligibility and terms directly with the funder.
10. No warranty and limitation of liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, hibretOne CIC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything the platform produces, including any decision you take about your legal structure or funding. Our overall liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer as the platform evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
