Cookies

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you use a website. We also use similar storage in your browser, such as local storage. This page lists everything the Seghu platform stores on your device, what each item does, how long it lasts, who provides it and where the data goes.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Essential cookies and storage (always on)
These make the platform work. We do not need your consent for them, but we tell you about them here.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
These help us understand how the platform is used and where people get stuck, so we can improve it. They include recordings of what happens on screen as you use each page. Anything you type into a form is hidden. Other text on the page can appear in a recording. When you are signed in, our product analytics service links your activity to your account (your name and email address). Our usage statistics service receives only an account number, not your name or email.
None of these are set until you accept, and you can turn them off at any time in Cookie settings.
| Name | What it does | Type | How long it lasts | Provided by | Does data leave the UK? |

Videos
Some Learn pages include videos. Nothing is loaded from the video service until you press play. When you do, the video comes from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Before you press play, the preview image is loaded from YouTube's image servers, which sends them your IP address but sets no cookie.
Changing your mind
You can turn analytics cookies on or off at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages, or in Settings when you are signed in. Turning them off stops any further collection and removes the analytics cookies from this device. It does not affect anything collected while they were on. To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your account, email info@hibretone.org.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, you will not be able to sign in.
